Farm2Food Accelerator Looks To Help Women Succeed Grow In Agriculture
Thanks to funding via the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington are conducting a joint Farm 2 Food Accelerator program, which is now in its 2nd year. Increasing Desert Moon’s chances of dried snack success, Luna was recently chosen as one of 10 participants in a Farm2Food Accelerator program cosponsored by the Nevada Department of Agriculture and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Foundation. The five-month curriculum mentors woman-owned farming, food, and beverage businesses in expanding into new markets.
