Nevada Female Producers get Leverage Through Farm2Food Accelerator Program
Although women comprise only about a third of the country’s agricultural producers, they represent the fastest growing demographic in agriculture, their numbers nearly tripling over the last three decades.
“Women tend to be in the minority in agriculture and food manufacturing,” says Dillon Davidson, senior trade officer for the Nevada Department of Agriculture. “So we really want to bring this opportunity to enhance their skills and abilities and shine a spotlight on them.”

NASDA Foundation announces class of 2022-2023 Farm2Food Accelerator program
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Foundation is pleased to announce that 42 minority and women farmers, ranchers and entrepreneurs have been selected for the 2022-2023 cohort of the Farm2Food Accelerator program being held in California and Nevada. The selected participants will receive training in marketing, product development, food safety, packaging and pricing over the course of 15 weeks. The online accelerator will be offered in Spanish for the first time since the program’s inception.

Farm2Food Accelerator Looks To Help Women Succeed Grow In Agriculture
